Outlander a 2002 Robertson and Caine tried proven to be a comfortable liveaboard and sails quite well, gleaning about 60% of the wind.
Outlander is easy to board from a dock or dinghy and it is easy to move around from the cockpit to the salon and four cabins. You will find, that most catamarans of this vintage are not as well designed. Climbing over seats in the cockpit is very common in other models. Access and comfort moving around the vessel feels effortless on the Leopard 42. The Leopard 42 design has significantly influenced the new catamaran designs.
