She is a development of a Van de Stadt design which was highly regarded for its stability, performance, comfort and ocean friendly hulls. The enhanced adaptation is CE certified and is attractive, spacious and versatile. The much fuller hulls (as compared to narrow, deeper cats) are shaped to reduce the bow movement and flatten the seas, minimizing their contact with the bridge deck. The hull design also provides reduced draft, and ability to carry more without affecting the performance.
