Boat Description

PRICE IMPROVEMENT!

OPTIMALLY EQUIPPED FOR LONG DISTANCE CRUISING!

Fayaway is an extremely well-equipped and recently updated example of the Crealock-designed Pacific Seacraft 40. Her owners bought her in 2021 and had extensive work done in some of the country’s most highly respected boatyards, from Maine to North Carolina, including at the Pacific Seacraft factory. Work has been performed to the highest levels. Fayaway had previously been stored under shrinkwrap in a yard in Massachusetts for 15 years, and so, while in need of equipment replacements, essentially had 15 years removed from her use timeline. She is a magnificent example of this model, widely recognized as a bluewater icon. You may find newer models on the market, but none will be as well equipped and in as fine condition as this yacht. Make an appointment with the listing brokers to see her today.

The Pacific Seacraft 40 is an ideal boat for a cruising couple with occasional guests. It is comfortable and seakindly with the two-cabin, one-head layout. The galley, quarter berth, head, and nav station are close to the companionway, making it an excellent layout for passagemaking. The Scheel keel is a desirable feature, with the 5’3″ draft allowing access to anchorages that have skinny water, while the shape of the keel gives excellent pointing ability.

The owners lived aboard almost continuously for four years and cruised from Nova Scotia to the Bahamas and the Eastern Caribbean. You can sail away on Fayaway—just add food and clothing!
