Zoe has been owned since 2018 by an American based couple who have sailed her in the coastal Mediterranean for seven summers then stored on land for winter and kept in top shape to be ready for another season of stress free sailing.  As a result, Zoe shows far better than her peers that have been beat up in charter service or have been lived on full time and crossing oceans.   

After seven years of ownership we have made the painful decision to sell Zoe to be closer to home in the United States due to family circumstances. Current owners will help the new ones with a smooth transition by giving a complete run through of systems.

Zoe comes equipped with a high power square top mainsail (with standing rigging replaced in 2024), genoa on a new furler, and gennaker ready for lighter wind conditions. Halyards, sheets and reefing lines are led to the 3 electric winch equipped cockpit for easy single handed sailing – either coastal or bluewater.

Well maintained with low engine hours (approx 1650 hours) and the Yanmar engine maintenance schedule followed for the upgraded 39HP 3JH5E main engines and her pair of SD60 sail drives with low drag folding props. All below waterline through hulls replaced with Trudesign composite in 2023. Coppercoat on her hulls makes for easy maintenance of anti fouling – no yearly haulout is needed just to re-apply expensive antifoul paint.

Her professionally installed high quality Victron lithium house battery bank combined with a 1200 watt solar panel array on a custom stainless steel davit power a 5 KVA Victron inverter for a “shore power at anchor” ease of off the grid living. An all electric galley (no worries about propane refills) with new custom Corian counters for easy meal prep, a high output watermaker for guilt free showers and air conditioning (with reverse cycle heating) in each cabin and the salon ready for hot summer days. All systems (including A/C) can be run away from the dock off of the large battery bank, with a low hours (~1700) 7 KVA 220V Onan generator on standby with an auto start for cloudy days. A custom installed Starlink is also ready to provide broadband internet anywhere in the Mediterranean – and beyond.

A large refit was completed in 2024 with new standing rigging to factory specification, sail inspection and repair, new headsail furler, new Corian counters in the galley, Starlink on dedicated inverter, new underwater lights, ARC Atlantic crossing requirements like mast head tri-color, new 20 hp electric start dinghy motor, new custom dinghy UV chaps, new and improved cockpit cushions and many other items addressed to make sure she was ready for many more years of cruising but with an unforeseen change in plans she is ready for her new owners to explore new horizons.

S/Y Zoe is United States Coast Guard documented (title in hand and free of liens) and US flagged with a home port of Phoenix, Arizona. Insurance renewal survey from 2022 available upon request.
