This Fountaine Pajot Venezia 42 has been refit and upgraded to a very high standard and looks more modern than any other Venezia out there. The exterior of the boat is elegant, with new hard bimini, gorgeous new decking, newer sails and rigging. The boat has cockpit and underwater lighting.
Nyango has a brand new deck, including non-skid and gelcoat; newer sails (2018); 4 Cabin Air Conditioning; interior upholstery & cushions (2024); and many, many more upgrades. She is truly turnkey and ready to go and has been cruising the Western Caribbean for the past 2 years.
The boat has only had 3 owners, and was never chartered. The interior of the boat is clean and well taken care of and in great condition.
The Venezia is not a light boat, at least not by multihull standards. The dry displacement is nearly 15,000 pounds. This is a genuine cruising catamaran and can carry a bit of load without immediately immersing the hulls and destroying performance. The hulls have a narrow entry and the bows are nearly plumb, the waterline length is 41 feet. The substantial bridgedeck is just over 27 feet long, giving the boat a feeling of rigidity and accounting for some of the weight.
