Taillevant has always been based at Willsboro Marina on Lake Champlain in New York State, so she has spent most of her life in fresh water. In the fall of 2022, the owner relocated the yacht to the Caribbean, specifically to Martinique, and then moved her to the British Virgin Islands the following year.
