Inquire About this Boat

Boat Description

This is a nearly completely restored, classic, spacious, comfortable, reliable, and stable Downeast-style motor yacht.

Karen Gayle, with a bit more work, will be ready for the Great Loop, your piscatorial pursuits, or any other adventure you decide to embark on.

Karen Gayle is a rare find and more than a Great Loop–capable motor yacht.

Karen Gayle is located in Beaufort, NC.

She is used, needs some work, and shows very nicely.

For more information contact the listing broker, Sean Kiaer with Curtis Stokes & Associates at 206-325-7700.

With this recent price reduction, she is offered as is, where is, with no survey; sea trial available to the prospective buyer.

Karen Gayle was undergoing repairs and upgrades, along with preventative maintenance work and other improvements.

One of her upgrades was a remodel of the engine compartment with a hydraulic opening single hatch instead of the traditional two access hatches, allowing more room to work on the engines and additional storage for maintenance supplies.

Another upgrade in progress was the installation of a new flybridge in preparation for the Great Loop; the new owner may either complete it or remove it, as the controls and electrical have not yet been installed.

While the owner was adding upgrades, a family member became very ill. Due to this illness, the owner and his wife sadly are unable to fulfill their dream of doing the Great Loop or continue with the upgrades and repairs.

A 2022 report rates Karen Gayle very highly, well above other vessels in her age class.

This is truly a remarkable vessel and a must-see. Do not miss this chance to own a great motor yacht.
