Boat Description
The fastest Lagoon Ever Build!
This is hull #3 out of a total production of 4 units of the Lagoon 67S. "Indigo III" is the only "S" version. "S" stands for sport and Lagoon intended and succeeded in making this vessel both very comfortable and very fast. A taller rig, plumb bows, composite materials (everywhere you look behind the panels you see carbon fiber) and light yet strong construction. Honeycomb floor boards! You don't see those in a Lagoon these days!
If you're looking for a world-traveler, look no further. I had the pleasure of doing a 900m trip from the Caribbean to FL in September 2021 and it was fantastic. She immediately accelerates when you have a gust of wind, the steering is direct and she responds very well to sail trim. Her large sail inventory (genaker, spinaker, genoa, storm jib and fully battened main) make it a joy to adapt her to any condition for maximum performance, while at the same time enjoying an abundance of comfort. Every where you look you see 2-speed electric winches so raising sails and trimming sails is easy. Two hundred mile days are a standard feature, you don't need to make any effort, she moves constantly at 8-12 knots. Four large staterooms, large showers / heads, galley down, inside and outside dining area for large groups and even a work shop.
Rigging is supersized and in great shape, Yanmar (2016) engines run well and were just serviced, generator is good, batteries are good, sails are in good shape, air conditioning is cold, huge windlass and ground-tackle, lots of spares.
"Indigo III" sailed around the world after a complete refit (please search on YouTube), and was sitting in the Dominican Republic for the past 18 months. She has some deferred maintenance, mostly seen in stained wood on wall panels, but the important and expensive systems are working well.
The bones are good and blood is running through the veins of this thorough bred. She needs a new master and commander who brings her back tip top shape and takes her on a second tour around the world.
Priced to sell fast. This is a big boat (67' x 35') with big boat systems and a serious piece of machinery, no dreamers, this is not an entry level catamaran.
